Who is responsible
The Little Woodlands Feelings Lab is produced by DigiDent AI Ltd, which acts as the data controller for contact enquiries submitted through this site.
Privacy questions can be sent through the adult contact form. We do not publish a personal residential address or ask children to contact the project directly.
What we collect
The contact form collects an adult’s name, email address, optional organisation, enquiry type, message and privacy acknowledgement. Basic technical security data such as IP address may be used briefly for rate limiting and anti-spam checks.
Please do not include a child’s name, date of birth, diagnosis, school record, health history, safeguarding details or attachments. The feeling finder runs locally and does not send or save a choice.
Why and how we use it
We use contact details to read and respond to enquiries about books, resources, schools, bulk orders or professional matters. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering a requested enquiry; where a message concerns a possible order or agreement, processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request before a contract.
The site does not use personal information for behavioural advertising, child profiling or automated decision-making.
Email and anti-spam providers
When configured, form delivery uses Resend as an email-delivery provider. Cloudflare hosts the site and may provide Turnstile anti-spam checks. Those providers process the limited technical and message data needed to deliver or protect the form under their own security and data-processing terms.
Where processing occurs outside the UK, the relevant provider is expected to use an approved transfer mechanism and contractual safeguards. Amazon and official support links are separate third-party websites; their own privacy notices apply after you follow a link.
Retention and security
The website does not save messages in a site database. Delivered messages may remain in the project inbox and provider logs for up to 12 months, or longer only where needed to handle an active enquiry, legal obligation or dispute. Spam and unsuccessful submissions are not intentionally retained by the application.
Access is limited to people who need it for the enquiry. Transport security, validation, honeypot protection, rate limiting and optional Turnstile reduce — but cannot remove — online risk.
Children’s privacy
The website may be read by children but does not intentionally collect personal data directly from them. There are no child accounts, comments, uploads, saved quizzes, personalised advertising or open chat.
The contact form is for adults aged 18 or over. A child who needs help should speak to a trusted adult or use the official support routes.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict information, object to processing and complain. Contact the project first so the request can be identified and handled.
