Terms of use
Share the woodland.
Keep the boundaries clear.
Last reviewed 30 August 2026. These terms apply to this website and its free downloadable resources.

Stories and information
The site provides children’s stories, creative activities and general guidance for parents, carers, educators and professionals. It is not therapy, clinical advice, assessment, diagnosis, safeguarding casework or an emergency service.
Use your own judgement, the child’s context and the professional or safeguarding routes already around them. See Support and safeguarding when a story or activity is not enough.
Copyright and brand
Story text, characters, illustrations, animations, brand assets, web copy and original resource layouts are protected by intellectual-property law and remain the property of their respective rights holders. The author credit is Francis Ferndown.
You may link to the public pages and refer to the books accurately. You may not copy a book, extract its artwork for a new product, imply endorsement or present the characters or project as your own.
Free resource-printing licence
You may download and print a free resource for personal use, one household, one class, one library group or one youth/community setting. You may share the original webpage or PDF link.
You may not sell the files, remove branding or credit, upload them as your own, include them in a paid pack, or commercially repackage them. Contact the project about wider licensing.
Books and third-party links
Book purchases take place on Amazon UK, not on this website. Amazon’s availability, pricing, delivery, returns, accessibility and terms apply to that transaction. The current links contain no affiliate tag and are not described as affiliate links.
Official support links also lead to independent organisations. We check destinations before publication but do not control another site’s content or availability.
Acceptable use
Do not try to disrupt, probe or misuse the site; submit unlawful or harmful material; impersonate another person; send a child’s private records; or use downloads to create a competing commercial product.
Reasonable personal, classroom and library use is welcomed. If an accessible format or broader permission is needed, use the adult contact form.
Availability and liability
We take reasonable care with the content and availability of the site but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that one resource will suit every child or circumstance. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
