What this is for
Weather can give a child a low-pressure way to describe intensity, change and mixed feelings: sunny and windy, foggy with bright patches, or something entirely their own.
What you will need
- Printed wheel and arrow
- Scissors
- Split pin or paper fastener
- Colouring pencils, optional
Try it in your own way
- 1
Cut out the wheel and pointer with adult help.
- 2
Choose one or more kinds of weather that feel closest right now.
- 3
Add a colour, mark or new weather word if the printed choices do not fit.
- 4
Decide whether to share the choice, keep it private or come back later.
